1. What VitSync is

VitSync is a mobile application that generates personalised supplement suggestions based on data you provide, including lifestyle answers, Apple Health data, and optional blood test results. VitSync does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

2. Not medical advice

The information and recommendations provided by VitSync are for general wellness purposes only. They are based on publicly available nutritional research and the data you share with us. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult your doctor, pharmacist, or qualified healthcare professional before starting any new supplement, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication, or have a medical condition.

If you experience any adverse effects from a supplement, stop taking it and seek medical advice immediately.

3. Your account

By creating an account and using VitSync, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be aged 18 or over to use VitSync. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for providing accurate information when setting up your profile. Inaccurate data may result in inappropriate recommendations.

4. Your data

When you use VitSync, you provide personal information including age, gender, weight, dietary habits, lifestyle data, and optionally blood test results. This data is processed on your device and synced to our secure servers to enable your plan to persist across sessions.

Apple Health data is read on your device and used locally to personalise your plan. Raw Apple Health data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Chat messages are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. This data is not used to train AI models.

5. Subscription and payment

VitSync offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue receiving updated plans, chat access, and blood test analysis. VitSync Pro is a monthly plan at £8.99 per month. Current pricing is always shown in the app at the point of purchase.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple and billed to your Apple ID account. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings under Subscriptions.

Prices may change in future with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will not be automatically migrated to a new price; Apple will ask for explicit consent before any price increase takes effect, and subscribers who do not consent will continue to be billed at their existing rate for as long as their subscription remains active.

No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price changes. We may change the subscription price from time to time. Any price change will be communicated in advance through Apple's subscription price change process, which gives you the opportunity to review and, where Apple requires, actively consent to the new price before it takes effect. You can cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings under Subscriptions. If you cancel before a new price takes effect, no further charges will be made.

VAT. Prices shown are inclusive of any UK VAT that applies at the current standard rate. We reserve the right to pass on any increase in the UK VAT standard rate, and to add UK VAT to the subscription price at the prevailing standard rate if VitSync subsequently becomes liable to register for VAT. Any such change will be communicated in advance through Apple's price change process.

6. Amazon affiliate links

VitSync is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it and Amazon.es. As an Amazon Associate, VitSync earns from qualifying purchases.

The supplement products you see in your plan link to Amazon storefronts via affiliate links. If you buy a product through one of those links, Amazon pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. The commission does not influence which ingredient is in your plan, which is determined entirely by your data.

We curate products from reputable brands, but we do not manufacture, test, or guarantee any third-party product. Product availability, pricing, and formulation are controlled by the manufacturer and Amazon. Always check the product label before use.

7. Safety

VitSync includes a safety screening system that adjusts recommendations based on medications, conditions, and allergies you declare. This system is designed to flag known interactions but is not exhaustive. It does not replace professional pharmaceutical advice.

If you take prescription medication, always check with your doctor or pharmacist before adding a supplement to your routine.

If you report serious symptoms through the chat, VitSync will direct you to your local emergency services (999 / 112 / 911 / equivalent), your local non-urgent medical line (NHS 111 in the UK, 116 117 in Germany, etc.), and a relevant crisis helpline. The exact contacts shown depend on your device locale. VitSync is not an emergency service and cannot provide medical assistance.

8. AI assistant

The VitSync chat assistant is powered by AI. While it is designed to be helpful and grounded in your data, it can make mistakes. It is not a qualified health professional. Always verify important health information with your doctor or pharmacist.

The assistant is scope-limited to supplement-related conversation. It will not provide meal plans, exercise plans, medical advice, or assistance with topics outside of health and wellness.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VitSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of health, wellbeing, or any adverse reaction to supplements purchased based on our recommendations.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Intellectual property

All content in the app, including text, design, code, and branding, is owned by VitSync and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our written permission.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use VitSync for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. You must not attempt to extract our API keys, reverse-engineer the app, or access other users' data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app. Your continued use of VitSync after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
